Revealing the Faces of Hope Masquerade

Saturday, October 27, 2018

The Haven of Grace hosted Revealing the Faces of Hope – A Masquerade Ball to Benefit The Haven of Grace on Saturday, October 27, 2018.  This unique event celebrating The Haven’s 30th anniversary took place at Lumen Private Event Space.  Revealing the Faces of Hope was co-chaired by Laura Hessel and Carola Gloyd.

The program for the evening included the presentation of a Proclamation by Mayor Lyda Krewson, recognizing The Haven of Grace’s 30 years of service to the St. Louis Community and naming October 27th “Haven of Grace Day” in the City of St. Louis.   The featured entertainer was Tish Haynes Keys, a St. Louis native who was recently featured on The Voice.   Master of Ceremonies was Katherine Hessel from Fox2.  The spirit of the masquerade was carried into the Cajun-themed menu that included several food stations.

The exciting live auction featured a variety of items including weekend getaways to Innsbrook and the Lake of the Ozarks, green seats to the Cardinals, autographed Blues memorabilia and suite tickets, a diamond and gold bracelet, and trips to Gulf Shores and the Bahamas.  The program ended on a high note with the Best Mask Contest.  Jill and Jeff Garlich were named the winners and took home two tickets to the 2019 Mardi Gras Mayor’s Ball.

Thank you to everyone who attended or supported Revealing the Faces of Hope!  With your help, we raised $100,000 to launch the next 30 years of service to homeless, pregnant women and their children at The Haven of Grace.
