Strathalbyn Farms Club

Raises More than $45,000 for The Haven of Grace

The Haven of Grace hosted Field and Farms Sporting Clays on Friday, September 23, 2016.  This unique event was presented by Moneta Group and took place at Strathalbyn Farms Club, a private facility nestled on a 120 pristine acres in the Weldon Springs area of St. Charles County.  Brad and Renee Stout chaired the event which was attended by more than 50 people.

Field and Farms Sporting Clays began at noon with Strathalbyn’s famous fried chicken lunch.  Shoot participants competed on the 14-station, 100-shot sporting clays course in teams of three.  Dave Helms, David Butz, and Andre Bonifacio took first place in the team division.  Dave Helms and David Butz tied for the highest individual score.
Field and Farms also featured a Paint Party by Painting with a Twist out of O’Fallon, MO for non-shooters.

Participants of the Paint Party left with a hand-painted masterpiece featuring gorgeous hydrangeas in rustic mason jars.  The shoot and paint party were immediately followed by a cocktail hour awards ceremony.  The exciting live auction featured a duck hunt, golf package, snow goose hunt, falconry experience, and a week-long trip to Beaver Creek, Colorado.

The event raised over $45,000 for The Haven of Grace, a residential facility serving women who are young, homeless and pregnant.  Offering a safe, nurturing home, educational programs and long-term support for mother and child, The Haven instills hope, dignity and the pride of independence, one family at a time.
