Congratulations to Tamajah Jones – The Haven of Grace’s Employee of the Month!

“I’ve been with the Haven of Grace exactly one year this month! I’m thrilled to be The Employee of the month, especially since it’s also my birthday month! I ’m in the process of getting my bachelor’s degree in social work and was drawn to the Haven of Grace because love people and helping and empowering women.

At the Haven of Grace, I like assisting the moms with cooking. I have a culinary certificate from North Technical High School and lots of culinary experience. Plus, the moms enjoy my creative way of cooking and teaching. They also come to me for guidance and advice. I’m blessed to be good at problem resolution, helping to calm people, and making them laugh.

Although officially I’m single, I’m in a great relationship. I have a 9-year-old daughter, Tari’yah and lots of nieces and nephews to love. One of my favorite things to do is travel. I’m a Miami magnet (my daughter was born there). I’m looking forward to spring break next month for a family trip to Texas. When I’m not working at The Haven of Grace, I’m a Health Coach at RX Outreach.”
