Congratulations to Alice Farrar – The Haven of Grace’s Employee of the Month!

Alice Farrar Serves as Residential Support Services Coach

Alice has been with The Haven of Grace for 6 years. “Since we are a 24/7 facility, I work from 4 p.m. until midnight Monday through Friday.  In my role, I make sure moms have the essentials goods they need, such as diapers, personal care items, and clothes for the season.  Or, if someone just needs someone to talk to, I’m there for them.  I help get dinner started for the moms, which is very important as they have educational classes to attend right after dinner.  I love the programs and classes we offer the moms to help elevate them in life. The caring and sharing here is fantastic!

I’m a mother of three grown children – two women and one young man – they are great, hardworking kids and I’m very proud of my babies!  I retired after 35 years from Madison School District 12 as a bus driver.  In addition to working full time at the Haven, I went back to Madison School District part-time.  I love both jobs as they keep me active and fulfilled.  I’ve designed my life to have weekends off so I can relax!
